When Sheila and Jay invited me to document their Paris elopement, I jumped at the chance. Paris has two nicknames; The City of Love and The City of Light. Coincidentally, these are the two things you need to make magical wedding photos.

We took off from their flat in Le Marais and gallivanted around the city by metro. These two are crazy in love and also total foodies. We clicked instantly and ate many macarons throughout the day. More than anything, they are avid travelers and wanted to incorporate that passion into their day. I think Paris checks that box!

I wanted to not only capture Sheila + Jay’s love for each other in the images but the essence of Paris as well. Paris has this old world charm that can’t be replicated. From the vintage news stands on Quai de Montebello to quaint cafés on every corner like A. Lacroix Patissier it’s a place with never ending photo locations. I’m pretty sure Sheila could of twirled in her BHLDN dress all day!
