a bit about me

Years ago I spent all my time abroad photographing my way through street markets in search of mind-blowing food and handmade artwork to bring home. I loved riding scooters through palm tree groves and getting lost. I fell in love with capturing different cultures, expanding my perspective, and all the beautiful chaos. I was living the dream and letting the world's cultures wash over me. I've been lucky enough to explore over 40 countries and continue to take trips somewhere new each year to keep the inspiration alive.

WORLD TRAVELER. CREATIVE. STORYTELLER.

I'm a lighthearted, tree-hugging, bad ass multi-tasking, cat loving, adventurous spirit. I believe in trying new things, traveling as much as possible and loving my people hard. Weekends are for weddings, outdoor adventures, family, farmers' markets, trying new restaurants, or chillin' in my hot tub with a negroni and a Nat Geo.

Having said that, the PNW is where I call home. I was born and raised in Seattle and will always be in love with the smell of rain, mountains in every view, and going on awesome outdoor adventures.

Photography chose me and I embraced it. Self taught and armed with a passion for documenting life, photography gives me balance, perspective, and allows me to see things in a different light. Making a living doing something I'm passionate about is pretty much the best thing ever. I love building new relationships, supporting my community, and create something bigger than myself.

Nowadays you'll find me decked in camera gear rallying a rowdy wedding party, collaborating with business owners to launch their new brand, or on a mountain top with a newly engaged couple laughing our asses off. My clients believe in my ability to tell their story. From that vulnerability and trust comes honest images that make them feel understood and confident.

It's an honor. Every. Single. Time.

my travel journey

Not many know this, but I actually started out as a nature and travel photographer. Experiencing other cultures gives me perspective and is a constant source of inspiration for my work. I travel every year, so whether you’re getting hitched in another state or somewhere abroad, I can follow!

Destination weddings and elopements are my jam, so don’t let travel costs stop you from starting the conversation! I’m super flexible and would love to see how we can make this adventure happen! Whether you need honeymoon location ideas or just want to be inspired, my travels are all below for you to explore.

FUN FACTS

- I’ve visited 50 countries and 298 cities worldwide. Thailand, India and Morocco are my favorites so far.

- I have watched the series 'Grey's Anatomy' the ENTIRE way through 4 times.

- I used to be a kitten rescue volunteer and found homes for 102 kittens over 6 years! I may have made friends and family adopt a few along the way...

- I make fish tacos like a boss and will throw in some homemade guac and pico if you bring the tequila... Nomnom.

- I'm obsessed with Marvel Comic movies and have dreams where I can fly around like Iron Man.

- I love to scuba dive and have 168 dives in my log book from all over the world.

-I own every copy of National Geographic ever made.

- My favorite color is white.

- My mom is my best friend.

- I've taught English to Buddhist monks and met the Dalai Lama. For real! He's the kindest soul I've ever met and giggles a lot.

just because

My kids are furry. Yoda is no Jedi knight, in fact he meows like a girl and will open any cupboard with crinkly plastic inside. Zozo is big, dark and handsome. He's the king of my neighborhood and will stare into your soul until treats appear. These guys are my heart.

01. YODA & ZOZO

You may have noticed that I've got a mean case of wanderlust and I’ve got it bad. Nothing brings me more joy in life than to explore the world and experience other cultures. Traveling is the best life education a person could ask for. Check out my travel log to see some of my favorite adventures!

02. TRAVEL ADVENTURES

Washington has the most mind blowing landscapes, crystalline bodies of water and endless outdoor activities. It’s no wonder I decided to tap into my native roots after years of traveling and make Seattle my home. Where else can you have sea and mountains within an hour of the city?!

03. NATURE

I'm a home owner! Renovated and created my dream mud room for all 100 pairs of my shoes. I also got a hot tub the week I moved in and was honestly more excited about that than the home purchase itself. I have a secret garden and like to throw summer BBQ's. Ginger beer jello shots are my jam.
