Lisa & Jared’s elopement in Neah Bay was an experience that exhausted and exhilarated me in the most amazing way. Clients like these don’t come along often and I jumped at the chance to photograph their marriage. With our toes in the sand, a local Makah tribal leader performed their ceremony and chanted ancient wedding prayers. I was in heaven – lush rainforest, coastal sunshine, epic sea stacks, and aqua blue surf surrounding us. With a shared passion for surfing and the outdoors, Lisa + Jared waded into the ocean in their wedding attire for a celebratory surf sesh. I was waist deep with them in the freezing ocean and felt nothing but excitement for these two as the sun went down. The connection they share pours out of every captured moment and into the hearts of everyone that knows and loves them. Here’s to being one with nature and surfing together for years to come! Congrats you two!
Big thank you to Katie DeLorme for the amazing florals, Hobuck Beach Resort for the stunning beach camp grounds, Steve of the Makah tribe for the heart warming ceremony, Pendleton for the post surf wool blanket and Cape Flattery for the beautiful forest.
