I’m not a morning person, but for epic locations like this I’ll always make an exception. We set out super early to make it to Diablo Lake in time for sunrise. Winding through the North Cascades in the dark was a coffee burner for sure, but when that sun started to rise the excitement kicked in and I almost forgot it was freezing outside.

Isaac and Sabrina totally rocked their session as I watched them fearlessly walk out onto the giant rock cliffside overlooking the lake. Taking adventures together is their favorite thing and was established on their first three dates;  a hike, road-trip, and ski-trip to Whistler. I love how couple’s personalities slowly emerge during a session the more comfortable they get. Isaac’s tender love and protective instincts matched with Sabrina’s beautiful and carefree spirit complimented each other throughout the morning.

The adventure continues with their wedding in the Dominican Republic next year. Congrats you guys!
