2021 has been the year for book cover/author portraits! I think everyone has had more time at home to write and focus on those passion projects.

Susan Scott has authored two books Fierce Conversations and Fierce Leadership, which also happen to be nationwide bestsellers. She’s also an incredibly kind and inspiring person and has a GREAT sense of humor…you should hear her Ted Talks! She’s also got a new book coming out and needed a portrait for the cover. She welcomed me into her beautiful home which was truly a treat and a slice of real-estate heaven to capture some portraits.

She lives in a mid-century modern rambler that has a deep connection to the PNW landscape surrounding the home. The interior is one with nature and has a giant tree in the living room and floor-to-ceiling windows throughout. Her life-long world travels are displayed around the home giving it warmth and history. Her home AND personality spoke to me and I really connected with her as a person.
