Kate & Torrey’s Sayulita Mexico wedding was the highlight of my year. Would you believe that the first wedding I photographed was also in Sayulita? And that it was for Kate’s sister, Erin? Everything truly comes full circle and it was so wonderful to be back with this crazy crew.

Having been around this family for years, I’ve been able to photograph some of their dearest moments and watch them grow. Of course, I jumped at the chance when Kate & Torrey reached out about wedding photography after over ten years of being together. I knew before landing in Mexico that it was going to be one helluva party!

They chose Villa del Oso which is a dreamy, private residence on the beach a bit aways from town. With white stucco walls, palm trees, and pothos plants growing on every ledge, this venue is a tropical dream. The ceremony was on the upper lawn which made you feel like you were lost in the clouds. And the reception (aka dance party) was held closer to the beach on the venue’s private terrace.

This day is full of beautiful details, emotional moments, and some wild dance shots. Congrats again Kate & Torrey! I loved capturing your Sayulita Mexico wedding day for you :)
