HOW MANY WEDDINGS DO YOU SHOOT EACH YEAR?
I shoot around 25-30 weddings a year. It's important to me to give each of my couples lots of TLC and I can't do that if I'm burnt out! Gotta keep that creativity flowing and energy levels high for optimal wedding day goodness!

WHAT'S YOUR APPROACH?
I like to keep things fun and light hearted. The in-between moments are my fav and I'll crack jokes all day long to get them! Everyone who works with me says I make them feel super comfortable, which never fails to result in genuine images that represent who they really are. None of that stiff posing stuff! I always aim to deliver moments in an artistic way, but I'll also take a more stylistic approach depending on the situation. Occasionally I'll give direction and do a bit of styling to otherwise candid moments, but the photos will still come out with a natural approachable feel. Sometimes I like to set the scene for the best result and sometimes I'll capture everything just the way it is. I go with the flow and the most important thing is that we're having a great time in the moment!

DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE AND BACKUP GEAR?
I've got backup gear for days as well as business insurance so YES! We're covered. 

DO YOU TRAVEL FOR DESTINATION WEDDINGS?
Um YES! Combine your love and my love for travel for a wedding abroad and I'll be your best friend for life! I can't tell you how exciting it is to travel around the world to beautiful places and capture couple's love, SUCH an amazing thing! With 30 countries under my belt and counting, I'm totally down to following you wherever your adventure awaits.

DO WE NEED A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?
I only suggest a second photographer if your wedding is going to have more than 150 guests or a ton of different locations, especially if you guys are getting ready in two different places. Having said that, I shoot most of my weddings by myself and am totally comfortable running the show on my own. My couples always tell me I'm a wedding photographer with planner in one! I'm always rockin' my little fanny pack of emergency goodies to cover those unexpected 'uh-oh' moments, so don't worry, I've got your back.

HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE GET?
More than you're expecting and more than you'll know what to do with I promise!

WHAT'S YOUR TURN AROUND TIME FOR GIVING US OUR PHOTOS?
I have a 6-12 week turnaround time for wedding photos depending on the time of year and a 2-4 week turnaround for all other photography sessions. Trust me, I'm JUST as excited to see your final images as you are!

HOW FAR OUT SHOULD WE BOOK TO MAKE SURE WE GET YOU?
For weddings, I book up about 9-12 months ahead of time. Summer weekends book up the fastest. I usually have more wiggle room for last minute bookings during off season (October-April). Portrait sessions can usually be booked within a few weeks of your inquiry depending on the time of year. Fall is my busiest time of year for portraits so get in touch in the summer to schedule to make sure we get you in!
