how i roll

The art of capturing meaningful images can unfold in many ways. Sometimes that means perfectly styled shots with hair fluffing and lint rolling, but other times it means an ugly cry shot of you seeing your soon to be wife for the first time on your wedding day. Hikes up to epic mountain tops are always epic, but so are shots in your sweats drinking coffee together in bed. I love capturing it all. The imperfections, the emotion, the moments.

It's all about connection. It starts with the relationship between you and I, coming together to have a blast making honest images that will make you laugh, cry, and think "daaaaang I look good". I like to think I'm in the business of making friends. Yes, of course I'll be taking your picture, but I will also make you laugh and feel so at ease you'll forget you 'hired' me in the first place. We'll feel like old friends by the end. You just wait.

Liking your photographer as a person is just as important as liking their work. Which is why having fun together is a must and one of the main reasons I turned this love of mine into a profession in the first place. You're putting your trust in me to photograph your memories, and I never take that for granted. The best images come from a vulnerable place, those moments your guard is down and you are...well...YOU. So the question is, "are we a good fit for each other?" The only way to find out is to meet up for a cup of joe or hop on the phone get to know each other. Let's make it happen! I'd love to meet you!

By the way - I love to travel. So don’t hesitate to ask if I'm willing to fly to Tahiti, India or anywhere else in the world for that matter. The answer is most definitely YES. If it's a place on my bucket list I may even be inclined to waive some travel fees! Seriously! Passport ready.
