Best Wedding Venues in Washington

From intimate affairs to lavish and large celebrations, choosing the place you will get married can be overwhelming. The sweeping landscape of the Olympic Mountains seen across the Puget Sound, farms filled with charm and picturesque views, treehouse villages nestled in forest treetops all the way to downtown industrial chic buildings with rooftop views, the Seattle area is full of many amazing places to say ‘I do’! Below is a list of places I personally love to get you started on your journey.

The Piranha Shop

(110-150 Guests)

With being chic and affordable, this venue is definitely at the top of my list! The Piranha Shop is like a blank canvas with gorgeous natural light. Original wood floors, wood beamed ceilings and a metal sheet bar are just a few of the charming characteristics of this cozy space. Nestled in the heart of Pioneer Square, this location encompasses all that old world charm and definitely one of my top suggestions for smaller weddings.

The 101

(Up to 200 Guests)

The 101 is the hottest new venue in Pioneer Square and for good reason! Offering wedding coordinating and your very own client concierge, this space offers some impressive one on one experience. The space is freshly remodeled and feels more like an art gallery than an event venue. Your guests will get those historical Seattle city vibes with sophistication and a modern twist. Do your portraits around Pioneer Square to complete the story of your day!

The London Plane:

(Up to 40 guests)

Located on Occidental Plaza in the historical district of Pioneer Square, The London Plane is a charming, beautifully lit venue that feels like a cafe in Paris. It’s perfect for smaller, more intimate weddings between 10-50 guests and offers catering and florals in-house. The London Plane is a partnership between Katherine Anderson, owner of Marigold & Mint, and the team behind  Sitka & SpruceThe Corson Building,  Old Chaser Farm, and Bar Ferd’nand.

Artists’ Loft at Hotel Max

(Up to 300 Guests)

With sky high ceilings and a fresh, hip, and industrial vibe, the Artists’ Loft’s and it’s 6,300 sq. ft. open floor plan will blow your guests minds. With concrete floors and a a ceiling covered in skylights, it’s perfect for weddings. Oh and access to the space is through an 8’ car elevator!

The Great Hall at Union Station

(Up to 500)

Go big or go home! The Great Hall is one of the oldest iconic landmarks in Seattle dating back to 1910. It has a Parisian modern renaissance inspired interior with barrel vaulted ceilings and vintage mosaic tiles through out. The staff here is on point and includes in-house catering, set up and tear down. If you’re looking for a ‘wow’ factor then look no further!

The Foundry by Herban Feast:

(Up to 200 guests)

Located in the heart of Sodo where historic meets contemporary, an old copper and steel fabrication plant gives the option of several different layouts in their 5 distinct rooms. Florals, catering and styling all available on site.

Sodo Park by Herban Feast:

(Up to 320 guests)

Located in the heart of Seattle’s SoDo district this venue has claimed a century-old factory as it’s industrial yet chic backdrop. They offer experienced staff and chefs through Herban Feast their on-site Catering company. This space exudes character and old world charm and has one of the most dramatic ceremony spaces in Seattle.

The Corson Building:

(Up to 35 guests)

With venue was built in the 1920’s and it offers a beautiful space echoing the opulence of that era. Ceremonies often have taken place in the charming garden area while a great patio offers space for cocktail hour. Offering specially built menus for each guest in their intimate dining room that feels straight out of European romance novel.

Treehouse Point:

(Up to 80 guests)

Imagine getting married amongst treehouses, bridges connecting them all, and the lush green forest of the Pacific North West. For nature-loving couples this would be a great fit! Treehouse Point offers elopements (max of 10 guests) and full weddings (max of 80 guests). A 4-acre property offers a great venue for destination weddings with overnight accommodation on site for up to 18 people.

Matt’s in the Market:

(Up to 45 guests)

Seattle and Pike’s Place Market are synonymous and Matt’s in the Market is a long time Seattle staple offering up some of the best seafood in the city. If you’re looking for a charming restaurant with sweeping views of the waterfront, then Matt’s is your place.

DeLille Cellars:

(Up to 200 guests)

Delille Cellars Chateau draws from French Architecture and is one of the most beautiful wineries in Woodinville. Offering an expansive property full of possibilities, the charm of the venue is overwhelming and is perfect for summer weddings. With ponds, a large barn, lush green forested area, a vineyard, and several options for ceremony sites, this place has it all and even welcomes guests with a family of lamas in the front apple orchard!

Dairyland:

(Up to 250 guests)

Located in Snohomish Valley, Dairyland offers another option for those couples looking to get outside of the city. Giant rustic white barns, beautiful ceremony sites, and a space perfect for a ‘family style’ dining experience makes this venue a quintessential modern farmhouse to spend the day with your loved ones. Dairyland has incredible natural light and tons of amazing places for photo ops.

Bella Luna Farm:

(Up to 100 guests)

Less than 30 mins north of Seattle, this venue offers the charm of shingle-sided buildings overlooking beautifully curated and maintained gardens and a pond. It offers extensive areas to explore and wonderful opportunities for stunning photos. The aviary is used as the primary location for family style reception dinner and has incredible natural light.

Woodinville Lavender Farm:

(Up to 80 guests)

This dreamy venue is Woodinville wine country at it’s finest. The owner pours his heart and soul into this place and it really shows. The grounds are immaculate and perfectly picturesque all through lavender season. Smaller intimate weddings do best here. They offer white tented banquet dinner seating, gable cafe lights, lawn games, and the best scented lavender fields you can imagine. Sunsets here are epic and the photo opportunities endless.

Block 41:

(Up to 300 guests)

Modern industrial vibes meet vintage industrial chic at this awesome new space restored from a 1927 former ice warehouse in Belltown. The space is perfect for weddings on the larger side and can accommodate up to 300+ with it’s three separate spaces on two levels. There’s even a beautiful landscaped courtyard for those warm summer nights. If giant wood beams, dramatic natural light, concrete walls, and steel are your thing, this is the place!
